1. Products (goods) — no refunds
When you buy goods from McFly World and payment is received, the transaction is final. We do not offer:
- Refunds for change of mind, “wrong size” of accessory you selected, or compatibility issues discovered after purchase when specifications were available at the time of sale.
- Returns or exchanges for opened software, activated licences, or registered digital keys.
- Refunds on custom builds, built-to-order PCs, special orders, or clearance items.
- Refunds on consumables or hygiene-sensitive items once seals are broken.
Payment of an invoice or completion of checkout is your acknowledgement that you accept these conditions.
Statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law in India continue to apply where they apply; this policy does not remove non-waivable consumer protections.
2. Inspection & delivery disputes
If goods are visibly damaged or the shipment is short, you must tell us before leaving our store with the item, or within one (1) hour of delivery with clear photos and a description. After that window, condition and quantity are deemed accepted and we will not issue refunds or replacements on that basis.
3. Warranty vs refund
Branded hardware may carry a manufacturer’s or distributor’s warranty. That process may allow repair, replacement, or RMA according to the manufacturer’s rules — it is not a refund of the purchase price from McFly World unless we explicitly agree otherwise in a signed document.
We may help coordinate warranty logistics as a courtesy; approval of any claim rests with the warrantor.
4. Services — fees, deposits, parts
Professional services (repairs, installs, consultancy, site visits, remote support, etc.) are billed as described on your estimate, work order, or invoice.
- Diagnostic fees, bench fees, minimum labour, and call-out charges are earned when the service is performed or attempted and are not refundable if you decide not to proceed with additional work, unless we have expressly waived this in writing beforehand.
- Deposits taken to reserve time, order parts, or start work are non-refundable if you cancel without adequate notice or fail to cooperate, except where we choose otherwise at our sole discretion.
- Parts ordered specifically for your job are non-cancellable and non-refundable once ordered from suppliers. If you abandon the job, you remain liable for those parts and for labour and storage already incurred.
- We do not provide cash refunds for services already rendered. If we issue a limited workmanship warranty in writing, the remedy is re-performance of the stated scope only — not a monetary refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
5. Cancellations & no-shows
Cancelling an on-site appointment within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled time, or failing to be available without reasonable notice, may result in a forfeiture of deposit or a charge up to the full quoted call-out / minimum fee. Rescheduling is subject to our availability.
6. Prepaid packages & AMC
Prepaid visit blocks, hour banks, and annual maintenance contracts are governed by the written schedule or contract you accept. Unused visits or hours expire as stated there. We do not refund unused balances unless that document explicitly says so.
7. Orders cancelled by us
If we cannot fulfil an order — for example due to supplier discontinuation, manifest error in pricing, or legal restriction — we may cancel before delivery or performance. In that case, your remedy is limited to refund of amounts you actually paid for the unfulfilled portion, or, at our discretion, a store credit toward a substitute. We are not liable for incidental costs you incurred in anticipation of the order.
8. Chargebacks & payment disputes
If you initiate a card or UPI dispute or chargeback without first contacting us to resolve a legitimate billing error, we may treat that as a breach of contract, pursue recovery of fees and costs, and restrict future sales or services. Good-faith errors on our invoice should be raised before payment or within seven (7) days of receipt with evidence.
